Alloy 601, also known as N06601 alloy, INCONEL601 or 2.4851, is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy produced primarily by Special Metals Corporation. This alloy is widely used in a variety of industrial fields due to its excellent high temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance and excellent mechanical properties in high temperature environments.
Inconel625 has excellent corrosion resistance to various corrosive media in oxidizing and reducing environments. It will not produce stress corrosion cracking caused by chlorides. It has excellent resistance to inorganic acid corrosion and can show good corrosion resistance in hydrochloric acid solutions of various concentrations when the temperature reaches 40°C. It has good processability and weldability, and no post-weld cracking sensitivity.
Inconel600 has good resistance to corrosion by reducing, oxidizing and nitriding media. It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room temperature and high temperature. It has good resistance to dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas corrosion. It has good mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature and high temperature. It has good creep rupture strength and is recommended for working environments above 700°C.
InconelX-750 has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance below 980°C, high strength below 800°C, good relaxation resistance below 540°C, good formability and welding performance, and excellent mechanical properties in low temperature environment.
Inconel718 has good manufacturing processability in the annealed state. Good tensile strength, fatigue strength and creep rupture strength. It has certain high temperature strength up to 700°C; good oxidation resistance up to 1000°C; excellent mechanical properties at low temperatures. Good arc welding performance, no post-weld cracking sensitivity.
